Dr. Houle is a clinical dermatologist at the CHU de Québec – Université Laval, Canada where she founded the Contact and Occupational Dermatitis Clinic. Dr. Houle completed her medical degree at McGill University and her dermatology residency at the University of Montreal. She further specialized in occupational dermatology in Toronto before settling in Quebec City. She also works at the Quebec Medical Evaluation Office on complex cases of occupational dermatoses and is actively involved in teaching dermatology to medical students and residents at Laval University.
She is a member of the research groups of GERDA (France) and NACDG (North America). She is also a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association expert advisory panel (Skin Health Program). Her research focuses on delayed allergies. Her areas of expertise include allergic contact dermatitis, occupational dermatology, hand dermatitis, and the investigation of drug rashes.
